Body Positivity

People around you tells you to lose weight or put on weight. Even when you think you look great or feel your best, we still take their opinion into consideration and sometimes forget about our own opinions and views.

Honestly, I feel better, happier and more confident at 115 lb. Maybe need to tone a bit but I am comfortable and accept my body for what it is. Others may think that's too little lb or judge for not looking a certain way. However, I don't see what few are saying cause I love my body just the way it is.

That's Body Positive- to love your body and yourself enough not to listen to those around. 115 lb or 123 lb, It's all about how you feel in your own skin. And making adjustments on how you feel inside and out. It is loving yourself and smiling in the mirror while doing it.

My self love journey wasn't an overnight thing. I gradually got here by- eating healthy foods ( sometimes ice cream can be a healthy snack if that's what your body wants), doing a 5 minute workout during the day and having a few self care days (baking cookies, going for a beach run or anything that relaxes you). What really helped me was finding other influencers and youtubers such as @Blogilates to encourage myself on my journey. I didn't punishment my body for not looking a certain way or skipped a meal because I ate too much during the day.

Blogilates was my very first Youtube channel I watched to start my Self Love Journey. Cassey Ho's bubbly and over exciting personality was encouraging and gave me the push I needed to start.

Advices to someone on their Self Love Journey:-

Everything takes time.

Find people (whether it's Friends, Family Member or Youtubers) to inspire you along the way.
